Associate Professor Dr. Suparak Suriyankietkaew currently works as a full-time lecturer, with a management position of Assistant Dean for Business and Community Relations, at College of Management, Mahidol University.

Remarkably, she is Top-5 World leading scholar in Sustainable Leadership. Her research endeavors show the excellent proven records with multiple Q1/Q2 international publications. In 2022, she is ranked as the top-10 (#9) Thai scholar for Business Administration field by World Scientist and University Rankings by Global Ad Scientific Index Ranking.

In 2015, she completed her double doctorate degrees, PhDs in Management, at Graduate School of Management, Macquarie University, in Australia (#1 Business School in Australia) and College of Management, Mahidol University, in Thailand (#1 University in Thailand). She also received two prestigious scholastic awards from Royal Golden Jubilee PhD grant of Thailand Research Fund and International Macquarie University Research Excellence Scholarship. Her research interests focus on leadership, strategy, sustainable leadership, sustainability, corporate responsibility/social responsibility (CSR), management, high performance organizations, organizational behavior and Buddhist-based philosophies (i.e. Sufficiency Economy Philosophy and Gross National Happiness - GNH).

Prior to her PhDs, she spent about a decade living and studying abroad since her high school in Virginia, USA, as well as obtained both bachelor (BSc) and master (MSc) degrees from University of Maryland, USA. In academia, she has had extensive teaching and research experiences, published in several international journals/books and worked collaboratively with renowned worldwide scholars. She is also a special invited guest speaker/lecturer for various universities and a research fellow at Institute of Sustainable Leadership (Australia). Apart from her academic contribution, she has worked professionally more than 18 years as a strategy and management practitioner, trainer and special consultant for global/multinational corporations, plus local and international governmental agencies in Thailand and abroad.

Over the years, she has gained experiences and recognitions for several pioneering sustainable development and sustainability projects, notably as Gross National Happiness (GNH) Master Trainer of GNH Centre Thailand for Mindfulness Practice and Project Manager for a UN G77 training program on “Sufficiency Thinking in Sustainable Development”. Moreover, she positioned as Principle Investigator / Research Project Leader and led several successful research projects with diverse grants, including “An Empirical Research Study of Sufficiency Economy Philosophy Applications in Sufficiency Schools, Linking to UN SDGs in Education” and "Gross National Happiness (GNH) survey development for corporate well-being, happiness and sustainability". Her latest research project with a multi-disciplinary research team of experts focuses on "Sustainable Development and COVID-19 Pandemic in ASEAN".

With the world-class education from three continents (i.e. North America, Australia and Asia), the solid research backgrounds in empirical, quantitative and qualitative research and several years of global/multinational work experiences, Assistant Professor Dr. Suparak brings a unique contribution to management education and practice.
