The study trip focused on exploring the business and management trends in Healthcare, Innovation, and Tech entrepreneurship in the UAE. The group met with Mr. Salim Dahman Al Amoudi, Director of Marketing & Communication at Dubai Healthcare City (DHCC), and learned about the healthcare facilities, health education, and research at DHCC. Ms. Nipa Nirannoot, Royal Thai Consulate-General in Dubai, also hosted a lunch meeting with the group and discussed the challenges/obstacles to the healthcare and livelihood of Thai nationals in the UAE.
In addition, the group also visited the Dubai Science Park, the first science-focused business community in the Middle East, to explore entrepreneurship and startups focusing on energy, health, and environment businesses. They had a great experience exploring Dune bashing and dinner, camping, a desert safari, visiting the Museum of the Future, Burj Khalifa, Global Village, Dubai Old City, Grand Mosque, Dubai Mall, and sightseeing at the Emirate Palace & Ethiad Tower.
