CMMU Academic Study Trip
At CMMU, we realize the importance of developing students’ potential and thereby helping
students to broaden their perspectives and vision for self-development. Naturally, this objective
cannot solely be achieved by the student exchange program.
Thus CMMU also provides an international study trip to provide students with direct experience of
business management styles of the world’s leading companies. This is achieved through site visits
and briefings by CEOs and other senior members of an organization and information-gathering
sessions conducted by business practitioners. These types of experiential activity help augment
in-class lectures and class activities that students routinely encounter at CMMU. Students can
apply knowledge and experience gained from their study trip to develop their professional
competences in readiness for their future career paths.
From the 1 st -7 th May 2011, CMMU held a study trip to Germany. Fourteen CMMU students
participated on the trip accompanied by two full-time faculty members. The study program
included visits to the Technical University Munich and Ludwig Maximilians University. Renowned
organizations visited included car manufacturers BMW and Mercedes Benz, the multinational
industrial giants Siemens and Bosch and the Mandarin Oriental hotel.
Orientation for Inbound Exchange Students
The College of Management accepted 17 international exchange students from different
partner universities as follows: Bordeaux Management School (5), Copenhagen Business School
(6), Louvain School of Management, UCL (4), University of Applied Sciences Vienna(2)

th
