Asian Management
Seminar
The seminar program Asian Management
began as a collaboration between CMMU
and Lucerne University of Applied Sciences
and Arts in Switzerland. The program is in the
form of one-week of training, seminars and
corporate visits. The objective of the program
is to give participants the opportunity to learn
business management intermixed with Western
and Asian styles, to meet and exchange ideas
and experience with CEOs of leading Thai
business enterprises and multinational
corporations in Thailand. In so doing,
participants have the opportunity to learn and
experience Thai arts and culture.
The Asian Management seminar comprises
four main activities including in-class lectures
by CMMU faculty and Thai and foreign experts,
visits to business enterprises related to the class
teaching, cultural excursions and recreational
activities.
In 2011 CMMU held the Asian Management seminar for the fourth year. This year the seminar was

expanded and was conducted from 12 -19 July, 2011 and from 19 -27 July, 2011. Participants
included of 37 MBA students from the University of Fribourg, Lucerne University of Applied Sciences

and Arts in Switzerland and Universidad San Francisco de Quito in Ecuador.
