International Collaboration for Research

              Visiting Professors

              The  College   of   Management
              considers it a great honour to
              welcome    Professor  George   P.
              Moschis   from   Georgia    State
              University,  U.S.A.  as    visiting
              professor for the third consecutive
              year.  Professor Moschis first came

              to CMMU to deliver a series of        Georgia State University
              lectures on “Introduction to Research” and subsequently
              gave a workshop as well as providing research
              consultation for our Ph.D. candidates.  With his valuable
              contributions, their research papers were published in
              international journals.


              We also invited Associate Professor Pornsit Jiraporn, Ph.D.,
              full-time faculty at the School of Graduate Professional
              Studies, Penn State University, U.S.A., to give a workshop
              on “Advanced Financial Research” for Ph.D. candidates
              in August every year.

             Consumer Life-Course Studies Group

             The CMMU Research Centre was in association with the
             Center for Mature Consumer Studies (CMCS) from J.
             Mack Robinson College of Business, Georgia State
             University to form the Consumer Life-Course Studies
             Group (CLSG).  This group is a satellite unit of the CMCS
             network.   The objective is to conduct research on
             consumer behaviour in countries in America, Europe and
             Asia.  CMMU is very proud that the research centre has
             been solely selected for the satellite unit in Thailand.  The
             first activity was a conference on “Consumption and
             Well-being in the Aging Society Advancing Research on
             Older Consumers” co-organized by the German Institute
