Joint Ph.D. Program with Macquarie
University
Mr. Pitsanu Wimolrat, the CMMU Ph.D candidate who was
awarded a Royal Golden Jubilee scholarship, was
accepted by Macquarie University in Australia to join the
Cotutelle degree program. This is a joint research
program which allows a Ph.D. candidate to undertake a
research project at both CMMU and Macquarie
University. A candidate who successfully completes the
combined program is awarded a joint Doctor of
Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree from the two institutions. In
2012, CMMU will send another Ph.D. candidate to
participate in this program.

The 3 Annual Conference of the
Thailand Technology and Innovation
Management Association (ThaiTiMA)
This conference is recognized by the Institute of Electrical
and Electronic Engineers (IEEE). As a co-founder of
ThaiTIMA, CMMU, in cooperation with Thammasat Univer-
sity and King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi,

organized the 3 ThaiTIMA annual conference. In 2011,
the existing member institutions were joined by Kasetsart
University.

Collaboration with International
Technology and Management
Research (ITEMAR)
CMMU will be a founding member of collaborative group
called “International Technology and Management
Research (ITEMAR). This is an international cooperative
group that was initiated by the Institute Telecom, Telecom
Business School in France and was followed by other
universities in Europe, America and Asia. The purpose is to
create a research network and exchange of faculty and
research students in information and communications
technology (ICT), management and other areas
concerned.
