On Dec 19, the annual PRAISE Submit 2024 is organized by the Follow Father Footstep Foundation with a theme of "Converging Minds: Empowering Communities from Green Washing to Genuine Sustainability" at the Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit Bangkok.
At the Submit, Dr. Sooksan Kantabutra, representing CMMU Center for Research on Sustainable Leadership (CRSL), has delivered a 30-minute talk on "Managing and Leading for Sustainability" where he has addressed the prevailing sustainability problems and suggested a framework for the corporate world on how to deal with them more effectively. CMMU Doctoral Research Fellows Krittawit Krittayaruangroj and Waewkanee Assoratgoon from CMMU Center for Research on Sustainable Leadership (CRSL) have also participated on the stage as a moderator for two sessions on "Green Financing" and "The Journey to Real Sustainability: How Can We Make It Happen?", where they have exchanged their expert opinions and led the panel discussions with distinguished corporate leaders.
The Follow Father Footstep Foundation is a group of Thai people who have joined together to create social work. The aim is to be a small part to solve Thailand's problems to the extent that they can in order to develop stability and sustainability of the nation now and in the future. The foundation adheres to the royal development philosophy and principles of HM King Rama IX of Thailand.
The idea of Mahidol University having a sustainable development research center informed by King Rama IX's philosophy of Sufficiency Economy was conceived under the presidency of Professor Emeritus Udom Kachintorn. Started out at CMMU under the deanship of Associate Professor Annop Tanlamai, CMMU Center for Research on Sustainable Leadership (CRSL) envisions itself to be a globally recognized research center of management and leadership for sustainable development.
