MDMM Student visited Bumrungrad International Hospital
The dual degree program, Doctor of Medicine - Master of Management (MD - MM) from the Faculty of Medicine, Ramathibodi Hospital, and the College of Management of Mahidol University (CMMU) organized a visit and study tour at Bumrungrad Hospital. The event was led by Associate Professor Dr. Prattana Punnakitikashem, Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs and Support, and Assistant Professor Dr. Trin Thananusak, Program Chair of Healthcare and Wellness Management, College of Management, Mahidol University, as part of the ‘Leadership & Self Development’ course on March 12, 2024
The purpose of this visit was for students to gain comprehensive knowledge of management approaches of medical organizations, along with understanding the principles and concepts of hospital administration. Bumrungrad International Hospital is particularly known for pioneering world-class healthcare services for both Thai and international patients. This visit was planned in hopes of inspiring medical students to become healthcare leaders and showcasing potential career paths.
The visiting faculty were honored by Dr. Suthee Siriwechdaruk, a specialist in rehabilitative medicine from the VitalLife Wellness Center, who welcomed us warmly and exchanged his own experiences in the management of Bumrungrad Hospital, especially the VitalLife Wellness Center. We would like to extend our gratitude to Bumrungrad Hospital for their generous hospitality towards MD-MM students and for their excellent observership program.
