Associate Professor Dr. Prattana Punnakitikashem and our international students joined the study trip to Singapore from 29 August - 1 September 2023 to study in the “Digital Transformation: Introduction to a Holistic Approach” course by Dr. Dennis Khoo at School of Computing, NUS.
Students get to explore and experience the life on campus at NUS that filled with high-quality facilities, the fun, and diverse environment that encourages students to engage in the active-learning activities both in and outside of classrooms. The students get to know and connect with both fellow international students who’s on the trip and observe local students and their way of life. This study trip was a great opportunity for students to broaden their knowledge in an international context and culture and get to sightseeing and trying many new food, new lifestyle in Singapore during this trimester break! This surely is the definition of two birds, one stone that you can only find here at College of Management, Mahidol University.

Our ‘Soft Skills Development’ class visited FIT Thailand, Southeast Asia’s first fitness education, training and certification centre. We had a chance to learn from Suzanne Hosley, the founder of FIT about her experience of setting up her own business.
Suzanne shared with us her life story which is full of elements of embracing opportunities, overcoming challenges, building strong interpersonal connections, being optimistic in times of crisis, and developing resilience to get through covid.
One remarkable insight was that several of the current FIT employees have been with the company since the beginning and have also become co-owners. CMMU students were very impressed with Suzanne and her team and took away lots of useful learning. A big THANKS to Suzanne Hosley for inviting us to visit FIT and for sharing her personal learning experiences with us!
