Biography

Vishal is a Ph.D. Candidate in Management (Finance) at the College of Management, Mahidol University, and was awarded the prestigious Mahidol University Scholarship for Ph.D. Students. His research focuses on understanding why academics and practitioners have been unable to accurately forecast exchange rate movements despite exchange rate economics being a well-established and extensively studied field. Additionally, his work seeks to identify and propose forecasting solutions that could address and mitigate these challenges.

Vishal has a decade of professional experience in global economic research, Thai economic research, public policy analysis, and academic research. He received his Bachelor of Economics from Thammasat University. He was awarded the Royal Thai Government Scholarship to pursue his MSc. In Economics at the University of Warwick, United Kingdom.
