The College of Management Mahidol University (CMMU) 2014 annual report summarized the
operations and outcomes under the strategic plan 2014-2017 endorsed by the Board of Directors in
April, 2013. This strategic plan was used as an operational framework with guidelines for organizational
development to reach the stated vision, thus leading to the international accreditation. Under this
strategic plan, CMMU introduced and delegated a policy to those involved to implement and develop
an action plan for the fiscal year of 2014.
In this year, 1,624 students had been studying at CMMU: 624 were admitted, and 532 graduated.
The admitted students were classified in the following programs: 1) Ph.D. in Management (International
Program) – 10 students; 2) Master in Management (Thai Program) – 412 students; and 3) Master in
Management (International Program) – 202 students.
CMMU has forged an academic alliance with leading partner universities, both nationally and
internationally. Nationally, CMMU cooperated closely with the Faculty of Medical Technology, Mahidol

double degree program in which General Management is run by CMMU and International Management
by IAE Toulouse. These two programs take students 18 months for completion. Once completed,
students will receive one degree from Mahidol University and the other from Toulouse University.
In respect of research excellence, CMMU improved the support process for quality research
outputs and research grants provided by internal and external sources, thereby creating a greater
impact on the Thai economy and society in general. In this year, CMMU faculty members were granted
research funds from external sources for five projects as follows:
