                         Dean, College of Management

The College of Management, Mahidol University (CMMU) is greatly pleased to announce 2017 as the 21st year
of establishment. Over the past two decades, approximate 9,500 students of master and doctoral degrees had graduated

from CMMU. We are fully committed to producing master and doctoral graduates with a broad appreciation of all
management aspects to satisfy various needs of the Thai society, adhering to the philosophy “True success is not in
the learning, but in its application to the benefit of mankind” and the Mahidol university’s determination statement
“Wisdom of the Land” admired by everyone at CMMU.

This Annual Report of the fiscal year 2017 was published to promote the long-standing reputation of CMMU
and disseminate its academic achievements. To proceed with such intention, CMMU had relied on five key strategies,
consisting of transformative education excellence, research excellence, academic services excellence, internationalization,
and excellence in organizational management, aiming for sustainability growth in the long run.

With regard to the excellence of education, CMMU had determined to focus on transformative education that
aligns with new challenges in context. In 2017, CMMU had thoroughly reviewed its learning curricula to be featured
with up-to-date and universal contents, while consistently providing its students with extra-class activities, for instance,
field trips and seminars on various topics, which also invited the general public for participation. Additionally, we
developed a new curriculum titled “Sustainable Leadership” exclusively for doctoral students of the international program.
The new study program unveiled the connection between strategic leadership development and sustainable organizational

management supported by interdisciplinary fields. The number of newly enrolled students as of 2017 was close to those
       registered in the previous year.
