CMMU Strategies for Development
To comply with the four main strategies of Mahidol University in 2011 CMMU committed itself to a
course of actions and strategies for excellence as follows:
Teaching and Learning Excellence
Improving the existing curriculum to meet the needs of society, the community and the
nation by establishing collaborations with faculties of the university such as healthcare
management, double degree programs and executive programs in management
Establishing a full-time program to broaden opportunities for young graduates
Providing more short courses, training programs and other academic services
Enhancing CMMU’s international reputation and recognition by the world’s leading
academic institutions through accreditation to international institutions
Research Excellence
Emphasizing the development of procedures and mechanisms to encourage
faculty to produce more quality research by providing training programs to
enhance their research capability and by designing and monitoring assessment
procedures
Establishing a research center to collect data and to build up a database of
research papers as well as to share the papers to the public
Providing equipment and facilities to create an amenable research atmosphere
Providing new sources of funding to support new research projects

Strengthening relationships with existing partner universities for developing
academic collaborations

needs and encouraging them to participate more in CMMU academic activities
Closer cooperation with faculties of Mahidol University in academic services
Building systems and mechanisms for providing academic services to society
