A Message from the Dean
The College of Management Mahidol University 2011 annual report presents the operations and
outcomes for the year that are consistent with the four strategic plans of Mahidol University. These
are: research excellence, teaching and learning excellence, health care and services
excellence, and internationalization. These outcomes contributed to the accomplishment of our
mission and vision to be the management school of choice in Asia contributing knowledge-based
solutions to society.
According to the identity of our graduates defined as “To be professional executives and
responsible for society” we improved our academic curriculum educate produce professional
executives who are ethical. To this end we organized extra-curricular activities for our students at
all levels (undergraduates, graduates and Ph.D. students) to ensure that those who graduate from
the College of Management posses the necessary personal morals and professional qualifications
that are beneficial to themselves and society.
In respect of internationalization, we increased the number of partnerships with overseas
universities in ASEAN, Asia, Australia, Europe, and America. We fostered the exchange of faculty
members and students that has resulted in an increase in the numbers of exchange students
coming to study at the College. Moreover, we plan to host major
international conferences throughout the coming year to raise
our international profile.
On behalf of the College of Management, I would like to take
this opportunity to express my sincere thanks and appreciation
to all faculty and staff who have dedicated their time and effort
to the institution. I sincerely hope this annual report will be a useful
source of information for further enhancement.
