Asst. Prof. Dr. Randall Shannon, a CMMU faculty member, won an Emerald Literati Award in 2018 from Emerald Publishing. The research paper entitled “The influence of country image on luxury value perception and purchase intention” was co-authored with Ketsuree Vijaranakorn, who graduated with a Ph.D. in Management from CMMU.

Emerald Publishing was founded in 1967 to champion new ideas that would advance the research and practice of business and management. According to it, all of the world's top 100 business schools (listed by the Financial Times Global MBA Rankings) have Emerald authors.  The Emerald Literati Network Award has confirmed CMMU's status as a leading business school in Asia.
