Our CMMU student, Mr Jrinadech Kongcharoen (International Programme: Entrepreneurship Management), and his team recently reached the semi-finals of the renowned global postgraduate startup/business plan competition, The SCG Bangkok Business Challenge 2019 @ Sasin. The Mahidol team consisted of Dr. Peeraya Ruthiraphong, a specialist in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation from Ramathibodi hospital, and Mr. Jrinadech Kongcharoen, from CMMU. Dr. Trin Thananusak (CMMU faculty) was the team advisor.   There were 71 teams, from 40 institutions representing 19 countries, who submitted business plans in the first round (January 2019). The business plan (‘’REHAB HAPPY WALK”) of the Mahidol team proposed a toolkit for reducing freezing gait in patients with Parkinson’s disease. The tool increased the patient's mobility and confidence, as well as improve their standard of living.  This business plan was selected as one of the 20 semi-finalists in the competition. During the final competition (21-23 February 2019), the team successfully passed the first screening round and was one of the eight teams who reached the semi-final play-off round.

ทีมตัวแทนจากวิทยาลัยการจัดการ มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล ซึ่งประกอบด้วย 1. นายจริณเดช คงเจริญ (นักศึกษาปริญญาโทภาคภาษาอังกฤษ หลักสูตร Entrepreneurship Management) 2. แพทย์หญิงพีรยา รุธิรพงษ์ (อาจารย์แพทย์จากโรงพยาบาลรามาธิบดี)ได้เข้าร่วมการแข่งขัน SCG Bangkok Business Challenge @ Sasin 2019 ซึ่งเป็นการแข่งขันแผนธุรกิจสตาร์ทอัพด้านนวัตกรรมและเทคโนโลยีภาคภาษาอังกฤษระดับโลกที่ใหญ่ที่สุดในภูมิภาคเอเชีย จัดขึ้นระหว่างวันที่ 21-23 กุมภาพันธ์ 2562 โดยมี ดร.ตฤณ ธนานุศักดิ์ อาจารย์ของวิทยาลัยการจัดการ มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดลเป็นที่ปรึกษาทีม การแข่งขันครั้งนี้มีทีมจากสถาบันการศึกษาชั้นนำจำนวน 71 ทีม จาก 40 สถาบันชั้นนำใน 19 ประเทศ จาก 4 ทวีปทั่วโลกเข้าร่วมการแข่งขัน ทั้งนี้ แผนธุรกิจที่ทีมตัวแทนจากวิทยาลัยการจัดการ มหาลัยมหิดลส่งเข้าแข่งขันมีชื่อว่า “Rehab Happy Walk” เป็นแผนการสร้างอุปกรณ์ทางการแพทย์ที่ใช้สวมที่ข้อเท้าเพื่อช่วยเหลือผู้ป่วยพาร์กินสันให้เดินได้สะดวกและมีคุณภาพชีวิตที่ดีขึ้น ทีมมหิดลได้รับเลือกให้เป็นหนึ่งใน 20 แผนธุรกิจที่ผ่านเข้าสู่รอบ Semi Final และทีมมหิดลยังสามารถผ่านการคัดเลือกรอบ 20 ทีมและได้เข้าถึงรอบแปดทีมสุดท้ายที่ต้องมาแข่งรอบ Play off เพื่อโอกาสในการเข้าชิงชนะเลิศ
