Stanford University and Elsevier have released the 2025 edition of their World’s Top 2% of Scientists list featuring three CMMU faculty members below.
Professor Philip Hallinger (Career Long, Single Year 2024) Professor George P. Moschis (Career Long, Single Year 2024) Associate Professor Sooksan Kantabutra (Single Year 2024)The Stanford list of top scientists, considered the most prestigious in the world, is achieved via a rigorously developed composite indicator (c-score) that is calculated based on six citation indicators as follows using Scopus data.
Total citations (NC) H-index (H) Hm-index - H-index adjusted for the no. of authors on a paper (Hm) No. of citations to papers as a single author (NCS) No. of citations to papers as single or first author (NCSF) No. of citations to papers as single, first, or last author (NCSFL)The impact of a researcher’s work isn’t measured only by its findings, but also by how it inspires and advances the work of others. Being listed in the top 2% scientists in the world illustrates that the CMMU scholars are at a top level in their respective fields and have a remarkable global influence. The three CMMU scholars have continued to inspire the younger generations of researchers at CMMU and beyond to produce quality research that benefits scholars and practitioners worldwide.
