Zaw Thura Aung is a Ph.D. candidate in Sustainable Leadership at the College of Management, Mahidol University. He was awarded a Doctoral Scholarship by the ASEAN Centre for Sustainable Development Studies and Dialogue (ACSDSD). He has over a decade of experience in the energy industry, specializing in sales, business development, and project management. He is deeply committed to developing new strategies for sustainable business, drawing upon insights from various disciplines and collaborating with academics and practitioners, particularly in the energy sector. Zaw Thura Aung holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics from Mandalay Technological University, as well as two master's degrees: a Master of Engineering in Engineering Management from Chulalongkorn University and a Master of Science in Engineering Business Management from the University of Warwick. He aims to contribute valuable insights to the field and to inspire future leaders to embrace sustainability values in their strategic decision-making processes. Additionally, he is passionate about bridging the gap between engineering and sustainability and developing innovative educational programs to train sustainable energy professionals.
