BIOGRAPHY
Pwint Nee Aung is a dedicated scholar who achieved the prestigious Doctoral Scholarship and Research Grant in 2020 from the ASEAN Centre for Sustainable Development Studies and Dialogue (ACSDSD), enabling her to complete her Ph.D. in Sustainable Leadership in 2024 at Mahidol University. Her research focus revolves around developing leadership for sustainability in higher education, with a particular interest in simulation-based learning methodologies. Passionate about sustainability in higher education, She believes that universities play a pivotal role in fostering sustainable practices and producing graduates equipped with the skills necessary for societal resilience. She is driven by a commitment to contribute to capacity building among educators in Myanmar and the sustainable development of education in the region.
Her academic journey includes receiving the New Zealand ASEAN Scholarship for her Master of Educational Leadership and Management at Unitec Institute of Technology, where she graduated with first-class honors. She holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Biomedical Science from the University of Bradford, UK. With her extensive experience in pedagogy, instructional leadership, curriculum development, and educational management, she aims to make significant contributions to sustainable leadership and educational development in Myanmar.
